After nearly 12 months in a luxury pet motel, our Scottish Fold cat Islay (pronounced eye-la) came home to our house yesterday. We thought she may have been shell-shocked after so long in an unfamiliar place, but she fell straight back into her old routine of following Harrison and Julie around the house and crying out for food every time they passed her bowl. It didn’t take long last night for her to be back up on the bed looking for cuddles and a nap. It’s so good to have her back home.
